The overall purpose of this job is to perform transportation and paratransit scheduling, routing, and dispatching duties; operates a variety of communication equipment, including telephone, computer, mobile dispatch terminal and scheduling systems with Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL). Responsible for creating, maintaining and monitoring computerized driver manifests/schedules; and responds to requests for service and provides a variety of information to Immanuel staff, participants and residents. Supports and lives out Immanuel's Mission and CHRIST Promises.

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
Scheduling & Dispatching
Responsible for providing transportation dispatching and routing services; dispatch paratransit vehicles as appropriate.
Create, maintain and monitor computerized daily manifests; modify and update schedules to improve services.
Monitor computer for scheduling issues and field situations requiring attention of the Transportation Supervisor.
Receives requests for service and input requests into Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD).
Performs transport data extraction from and input into Mediture.
Create monthly reports.
Perform a wide variety of clerical duties including answering phone and data entry.
Maintain accurate records, logs and files on transportation and paratransit services.
Collaborates and coordinates with Drivers and members of the Interdisciplinary (IDT) Team to coordinate participant services.

Education-
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.
Experience-
One (1) year of general office or related experience is required.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
Other Requirements-
Basic Life Support (BLS) current certification.
