Finance Co-op/Intern

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is the leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialtygases, as well as hardgoods and related products. We are in all 50 states, which is one reason why we're one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products and a leading U.S. supplier of ammonia products and process chemicals.

Profile Description

The qualified student will support the finance, accounting, and reporting functions at Airgas.

Tasks will consist of, but not all, of the following:

• Assist with monthly finance & accounting duties and associated special projects


• Assist in the timely and accurate delivery of financial information to our global parent company and regulators while adhering to applicable financial reporting standards


• Work on data compilation, month-end metrics, and trend analysis


• Prepare monthly reports for use in management decision-making


• Interact with other departments to ensure quality, accuracy and completeness of assignments


• Assist with documentation efforts and administrative assistance as needed


• Other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience

• Students majoring in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred


• Dependable, quick learner who is independent and works well with others


• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills


• Detail-oriented and quality focused


• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills


• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills. Familiarity with Google Suite highly preferred
