The Analytics Translator role will leverage their domain expertise, technical fluency and project management skillset to leverage analytics in order to identify, prioritize, and execute on business opportunities which yield the highest value when solved. To achieve this the Analytics Translator will be able to create business narratives and recommendations from raw data, synthesizing complex analytics into easy to understand and actionable recommendations that business stakeholders can understand and execute on. Lastly, this role will be responsible for seeing through the execution of defined priorities through collaboration with organizational leaders.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Partner and collaborate with business leaders to identify business challenges and make recommendations on priorities and actions which will drive the highest financial impact and are aligned with strategic corporate goals.
• Receive targeted savings goals from management, work with client and provider facing teams to identify, prioritize, and implement solutions that will enhance client, member, cost, provider and internal satisfaction for the benefit of DentaQuest.
• Partner w/ data analysts and business stakeholders to lead the identification of data needed to produce valuable insights for the benefit of the organization.
• Create business narratives using raw data which will drive data-backed decisions to enable the organization.
• Create, implement and execute a framework across cross-functional teams to ensure defined objectives are met with measurable impact.
• Support the development of responses for new business (or retention) opportunities on behalf of DentaQuest when cost analysis is required.
• Support the development and maintenance of cost performance analysis of; quality improvement programs, value-based programs in multiple markets.
• Ensure superior customer service through the monitoring and engagement of key business stakeholders.
• Other duties as needed or required.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• 5 years overall work experience
• Minimum of two (2) years at DentaQuest that exposed the candidate to multiple departments and an array of operational and strategic challenges.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three (3) years of industry experience in Business Operations, Healthcare Administration, Financial Management, Marketing/Sales or combination thereof required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm, commitment and business savvy to navigate organizational roadblocks to achieve desired outcomes.
• Mastery of project management skills with demonstrated ability to direct an analytics initiative from ideation to production and adoption working with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong acumen in quantitative analytics and structured problem solving.
• Working knowledge and business application of quantitative models.
• Ability to translate data / analyses into visualizations such as graphs, charts etc. which business stakeholders can understand.
Preferred:
Formal STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education or training.

Physical Demands

• Ability to travel as projects dictate
• Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment.
• Ability to communicate via telephone and work in virtual teams
