The company is comprised of four operating segments:



  • Climate Solutions: (~$1.0 Billion revenues in 2019) Includes fractional HP motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating & ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, and other OEM and aftermarkets.

  • Commercial Systems: (~$880 Million revenues in 2019) Includes medium motors from fractional to 5HP, fans and blowers and Hermetic stator and rotor sets which are sold to commercial heating and ventilating, commercial kitchen and laundry markets.

  • Power Transmission Solutions : (~0.8 Billion revenues in 2019) Constitutes products like gearing, bearings, couplings, and conveying components which are sold in a wide variety of markets including mater handling, oil & gas, beverage, and other industrial markets.

Industrial Systems: (~$575 Million revenues in 2019) Includes large motors, alternators, automatic transfer switches and switchgears which are sold to agricultural, marine, oil and gas, data centers, power generation and general industry equipment markets.

Scope of role

Reporting to the Executive Administrative Assistant (EA) to the CEO and CFO will serve as the key administrative partner to the EA and from time to time may provide additional directed support to members of Regal's executive leadership team.

In the role, the Administrative Assistant will also perform office management related duties for the Rosemont office location.

Key Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for leveraging their organizational skills, document management expertise, and office experience to manage, maintain and organize the essential activities of the Offices of Investor Relations, CHRO and Business Development.

This includes:


  • Providing primary day-to-day administrative support
  • Prepare PowerPoint Presentations/Excel Charts/Graphs
  • Drafting, proofreading, editing, organizing, tracking and filing various business documents in accordance with established protocols, including presentations, letters, messages, reports, memoranda, agreements, meeting agendas, and other corporate documents

  • Prioritizing matters for handling and processing in a timely manner and tracking to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Working closely with internal and external business associates and contacts to foster professional communication
  • Organizing, maintaining and updating electronic files and databases
  • Facilitating the planning, agendas and arrangement of meetings and travel
  • Ensuring and protecting the confidentiality of Regal's business matters

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a key administrative partner to an executive leader with demonstrated ability in dev eloping collaborative relationships within the team and across the organization. This administrative partner must have the passion, energy and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment, be able to employ forward thinking, and have the ability to anticipate and expeditiously execute tasks, projects and programs.

Minimum Requirements:


  • 5-8 years of experience as an administrative assistant in an executive leadership environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to this position.
  • Working knowledge of basic business terminology and concepts along with the ability to read, proofread and organize documents.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing professional presence.


  • Proven ability to be hands on, roll-up their sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal's 80/20 principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence resources outside one's direct responsibility.
  • Capability of operating at the highest level of integrity, ethical standards and confidentiality.
