Production testing and troubleshooting of semi-conductor radiation detectors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Production testing of semiconductor radiation detectors.
Test, repair and modify preamplifiers for use with the above detectors.
Perform ISOCS measurements
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Assemble various types of detector products.
Maintain proper stock levels.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have excellent soldering skills.
Must have experience working with standard test equipment and hand tools.
Must have the ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
Must have basic understanding of electronics and troubleshooting skills.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to use a computer.
Must have good organizational skills.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma and one year electronics certificate; or technical high school diploma.
Qualifications
Experience3 years: Three years of electronics experience (required)
