Description

A Registered Nurse is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. As a professional nurse, utilizes critical thinking, therapeutic communication, and interpersonal relationship building skills and strives to improve team effectiveness, system processes and patient outcomes across the continuum of care. This role may support additional projects, perform administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program with an RN License in the state of Illinois. Current nursing experience within the past 5 years. BLS Certification. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Oncology Certified Nurse.
