Highlights:

As the Commercial Contracts Specialist, you accelerate company growth by supporting commercial business sales and operating units. You excel at ensuring the successful implementation and management of service agreements with commercial clients. Using your contract expertise and understanding of company objectives, you maintain, administer and record commercial contracts between Spectrum Enterprise and clients or property owners.

You focus on guiding all aspects of commercial contracts with duties that include development, auditing, validation, implementation and management. You mitigate risks and promote a successful contract process by complying with all company guidelines. You have an aptitude for identifying roadblocks and overcoming obstacles to see contracts maintained and tasks completed effectively. You thrive managing contracts and related projects in an office environment and travel as needed to meet company objectives. You report to the Manager of Finance for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:

  • Encourage company-wide excellence by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.

  • Drive the commercial contract lifecycle by supporting commercial sales teams and operating units while interfacing with all levels of the organization, corporate legal and outside parties.

  • Utilize sales entry, tracking, scanning and document retention tools, such as Salesforce and OnBase to review and revise the processes for the management and maintenance of commercial contracts.

  • Provide reports to measure client service period and provide feedback on existing reports and databases while making assessments or recommendations for senior leadership to leverage.

  • Support the sales process by assisting with client negotiations as needed.

  • Improve client satisfaction by preparing or reviewing client communications related to contracts and services, such as proposals, letters and other client correspondence.

  • Establish and implement policy and practices to notarize and record contracts, easements, memorandum and other recordable instruments.

  • Ensure continued contract accuracy by auditing the process of submitting, tracking, validating and monitoring the execution and notarization of all contracts presented to the Spectrum Enterprise authorized signatory for commercial agreements.

  • Assist with return on investment (ROI) models, budget preparation and forecasting by providing recommendations on financial analysis as requested.

  • Efficiently distribute key contract terms and conditions to impacted internal departments by creating a permanent file cover form and process for each large business new, non-standard contract.

  • Develop, document and implement policies for actions related to contract violations or termination of service agreements.

  • Improve the efficiency of contract execution by requesting and securing Certificates of Insurance from corporate as needed and forwarding a copy to the client.

  • Enhance client retention by tracking and ensuring a timely resolution of escalated contract issues while corresponding and maintaining relationships with clients and their utility consultants.

  • Mitigate risks and ensure contract process compliance by aiding management and field teams with ongoing coaching and training.

  • Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.

Required keys for success:

  • Two or more years of experience working with property management or real estate.

  • Three or more years of experience with contract negotiations, drafting and review.

  • Expert in business contracts development, reviewing and drafting.

  • History of efficiently interacting with peers, clients and other professionals.

  • Experience bringing closure to negotiations at an executive level.

  • Proven ability to exercise accurate business judgment.

  • Solid analytical, financial and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize assignments according to timelines and the importance of tasks.

  • Track record of maintaining poise and professionalism in stressful situations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

How you will stand out from the crowd:

  • Two or more years of telecommunications industry experience.

  • Three or more years of experience with regulatory issues in telecommunications.

Your education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
