Position Description
Disinfects, sterilizes, and assembles surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Position is characterized by the ability to recognize surgical instruments and surgical instrument trays typically assembled in applicable area. Care and/or service is provided for neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.Position Requirements
Required: One (1) year as a Surgical Technologist or Instrument Technician I. Ability to identify instruments and assemble routine and specialty instrument trays typically assembled in assigned area. Preferred: Graduate of an accredited program in Surgical Technology. Certified Central Service Technician.
License/Certification Requirements: No
Work Hours: 5:30a-2p
Weekend Requirements: Yes
On-Call Requirements: Yes
