Job Description:

This position reports directly to the Fittings Distribution Supervisor and is responsible for pulling and document materials for shipment, receiving, and document materials with excellent customer service in a high pace teamwork environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Pull, prep, and document materials for shipment

Receive and document incoming materials for inventory or shipments

Attend to will call customers request and questions promptly and with accuracy

QC ready materials for accuracy

Needs to have a High level of attention to detail and understand the importance of accurate documentation

Other tasks as assigned

SKILLS:

Must be able to read, understand and interpret Sales orders, shipping, and inventory control documents.

Should understand Quality and Safety standards.

Knowledge of steel & fittings products, both inventoried and buyout material, is preferred.

Should be aware of the importance of maintaining a heat code identity and understand the documentation requirements for MTR’s.

Should be trained and qualified in the use of forklifts and any other machinery in the facility.

Interacts with customers, vendors, colleagues, and management professionally, friendly, and helpful.

Demonstrates strong math skills, ability to read and write in English.

Proficient with ten keys by touch.

Strong verbal communication skills.

High level of attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task.

 EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

5 years of related experience, fitting knowledge preferred
