Job Brief:

We are looking for a talented user interface designer to join the Software Advice product team. Our site (softwareadvice.com) connects small businesses that are looking for software with our team of advisors to help jump-start the software selection process. In this role you'll take ownership of implementing our website user interface and work on a diverse set of projects to ensure the Software Advice website is beautiful, useful and effective across all device formats.

What You Will do:

• 
  Rapidly bring designs to life. You'll build out design comps into fully functioning site features that are fast, responsive, and meet the needs of our site visitors.
  
  


• 
  Test and learn. You'll collaborate with product, engineering, and our CRO team to develop and product A/B tests to drive conversion rate increases.
  
  


• 
  Lead our user-centered design process. With your UX colleagues, you'll represent the voice of users as you work with product and engineering leaders to develop innovative solutions that aim to put customers first.
  
  


• 
  Measure results. Together with our product managers, you'll use tools like Google Analytics, Optimizely and HotJar to understand the impact of your designs and discover future ideas based on user feedback.
  
  

What You Will Need:

• 
  Technical chops. Strong understanding of front-end coding and development technologies like HTML, CSS, javascript
  
  


• 
  A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent UX/UI exposure. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience will give you the foundation you need to succeed.
  
  


• 
  5+ years of UI experience. This ain't your first rodeo - you've got at least 5 years of experience in leading design processes balancing user experience, business needs and technical feasibility.
  
  


• 
  Experience with modern UX design tools. You can do amazing things with design tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch and InVision.
  
  


• 
  Great communication skills. You're an experienced storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills who loves working directly with teammates to implement your work.
  
  


• 
  A knack for organization. We know we can't rush great things...but we've got some serious deadlines. Your organization and project management skills will help make it happen.
