Description

Army Cyber Incident Damage Assessment (CIDA) is the process of determining the impact on Army Modernization Priorities and weapon system capabilities resulting from the compromise of a Defense Industrial Base (DIB) participant’s unclassified computer system or network.  The CIDA Intel Analyst will work within the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) and the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) Cybersecurity Information Sharing Program Office to coordinate CIDA activities between the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3), Army Program Managers, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), the DIB, and other Intelligence Agencies.  The Intel Analyst will author reports and help prepare policy documents, information papers, and executive summaries on CIDA activities.

  • Minimum of Top Secret clearance with SCI

Years of Experience/Education Requirements


  • Individual must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies with 8 years of intelligence analyst experience or a Bachelor’s Degree (any) with 13 years of intelligence analyst experience

Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)


  • A working understanding of computer network terminology and architectures

  • Familiarity with computer forensic terminology/techniques, the NIST cybersecurity framework, and cybersecurity standards for the Defense Industrial Base.

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, problem-solving skills, & analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Computer literacy to include MS-Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)

  • Ability to Multitask

Travel


  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the month
