The regulatory changes impacting audit practices in Europe are having an significant impact on the Restructuring practices of audit firms. This has created a huge opportunity for growth and A&M has expanded its Restructuring practice significantly attracting top performers across Europe. Most recently A&M have launched a new Nordic Restructuring team in Stockholm. Our Nordic business is led by a group of very established and highly respected Managing Directors. We are now seeking a number of ambitious and talented people to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:


  • Advise companies, investors, lenders or any other stakeholders facing distressed situations


  • Assess Group-level financial performance in addition to high-level studies of the financial viability of subsidiary companies


  • Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation


  • Tasks can include; Independent Business Reviews, Initial diagnostic assessment of key issues and business outlook, appraisal of options & contingency planning and cash flow assessments


  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the Nordic and European Restructuring community through the delivery of value-add client engagements

Essential experience:


  • Strong educational background and exceptional academic record, including a strong focus on Finance , Accounting and/or Mathematics


  • Experience (including via internships) of Big 4 firms, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity is advantageous


  • Fluent business level English is essential and additional Nordic language skills including Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Icelandic are highly desirable
