Our Seasonal Spray Technicians are committed to this purpose.


Mainely Ticks provides tick and mosquito spray services to residential and commercial clients in accordance with industry/company standards, rules and regulations.  We offer extensive training for our Seasonal Spray Technicians who deliver valuable service to customers every day.

The Successful Candidate Will . . .



  • Complete our award-winning paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest

  • Be courteous and customer service minded at all times.

  • Productively use service and travel time.

  • Apply materials safely and effectively in accordance with all label, state, and federal laws and/or regulations.

  • Maintain care, custody, and control of company vehicle, equipment, chemicals, materials, supplies, and records.

  • Respond to unscheduled requests for service; make phone calls necessary to maintain complete and open lines of communication to all concerned associates, office staff, and the client.

  • Maintain clearly worded, accurate, and concise reports as required by Mainely Ticks, federal or state rules, regulations, or mandates.

  • Maintain any licenses or certification required in a timely manner to maintain the highest level of professionalism.

  • Spray 8-12 properties each day.

  • Visit multiple properties and Identify areas of concern using a map of the property including but not    limited to areas of standing water, property lines, gardens, environmentally sensitive areas.

  • Drive some days in excess of 100 miles.

  • Document daily work activity including product use in mobile device.

  • Be responsible for ensuring safe work practices are performed at all times.

  • Mandatory attendance at all required training sessions.

  • Follow all Mainely Ticks policies and procedures, including compliance with professional appearance requirements.

  • Visit with homeowners and identify harborage areas where mosquito and ticks reside.

 Requirements & Qualifications:


We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen.  Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations:



  • Possess current pest control applicator license specific to tick and mosquito treatment for your state.

  • Have a positive mental attitude.

  • Work independently while building a new customer base.

  • Display excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.18 years of age or older.

  • Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Pass a background check, physical examination and drug screen, as required by company policy.

  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements.

  • Effectively utilize problem solving and time management skills.

  • Pull up to 500 feet of hose.

  • Work in extreme heat conditions (8-12 hours per day).

  • Work Saturdays when necessary.

  • Work with pesticides in accordance with 

  • Use OHSA/label mandated personal protective equipment.
