Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and energetic professional that is driven to succeed, provide solutions, and perform meaningful work. As a Risk Control Consultant, you will engage with policyholder customers and agent partners, conduct workplace risk assessments, and assist customers in establishing and maintaining effective safety and risk control programs.  The selected candidate will work from their home and travel throughout North Carolina on a routine basis. As such, the ideal candidate must reside within this territory, preferably the Raleigh or Greensboro area, have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Occasional overnight travel will be required.

Experience

• * Bachelors degree in Safety, Risk Management or related; NOTE: Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.


• * Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance risk control or health & safety consulting role. Job title/level commensurate with experience.


• * The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, and effective at engaging and communicating with others.


• * Desire to learn, grow, and achieve career excellence.


• * Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills.


• * Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgement and decision-making.


• * Valid driver’s license with good driving history required.

• * Industry designation such as ARM, AFIS, CSP, or ALCM are desired.
