Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend Shift
4:30 am - 5:30 pm
Friday- Sunday + OT as needed
$700 HIRING BONUS
Job Summary:
To provide ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs to the production line and assembly equipment minimizing down time and damaged product or lost product. Help maintain preventative maintenance and repairs to production equipment, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, chiller, compressor and water systems as required. To set up and trouble shoot production lines.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Inspect all set ups and adjustments prior to and during runs
Troubleshoot problems as they arise and devise appropriate solutions
Determine appropriate measures for avoiding future problems and engineering out hazards
Follow appropriate safety measures including lock-out/tag-out procedures and any others that apply
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Advanced mechanical aptitude
1 year vocational training or equivalent work experience on production line equipment or related machinery
Basic comprehension of electrical systems, hydraulic operations, and pneumatic components
Intermediate level reading, writing and math abilities (high school level)
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:
Specific vocational training on high speed production filling equipment
Certifications in welding, or advanced electrical skills
Certified boiler technician
Advanced level skills in math, reading and writing
Training in Quality Control or TQM
3 years experience in building, automotive, or production maintenance
Minimum education and experience:
High school or equivalent
1 year work experience in related maintenance field
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Advanced mechanical aptitude
3 years vocational training or equivalent work experience on production line equipment or related machinery
Intermediate comprehension of electrical systems, hydraulic operations, and pneumatic components
Intermediate level reading, writing and math abilities (high school level)

Maintenance Mechanic III
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Advanced mechanical aptitude
3 years vocational training and/or 6 years work experience on production line equipment or related machinery
Advanced comprehension of electrical systems, hydraulic operations, and pneumatic components
Intermediate level reading, writing and math abilities (high school level)
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:
Specific vocational training on high speed production filling equipment
Certifications in welding and electrical and hydraulic systems

6 years or more experience in building, automotive, or production maintenance
Minimum education and experience:
High school or equivalent
6 years work experience or equivalent knowledge in closely related maintenance field
Maintenance Mechanic IV
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Advanced mechanical / electrical aptitude
3 years vocational training and/or 6 years work experience on production line equipment or related machinery
Intermediate level computer knowledge
Advanced level reading, writing and math abilities
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:
Specific vocational training on high speed production filling equipment
Certifications in welding and electrical and hydraulic systems
Training in Quality Control or TQM
6 years or more experience in building, automotive, or production maintenance
Minimum education and experience:
Associate's degree in an electronics field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school or equivalent
6 years work experience or equivalent knowledge in closely related maintenance field
Environmental conditions:
Factory environment with temperature extremes
Exposure to electrical, chemical, noise, and motion hazards
Recommend eye protection, safety shoes and gloves, depending on assignment
