Job Description:

Position Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse will promote and restore residents’ quality of life by providing nursing care as determined by the needs of the residents and their individual plans of care. Must be able to provide direct hands-on care to each resident by administering medications, and treatments per MD orders. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, friends, and families.

Essential Job Qualifications: Graduation from an approved school of Practical Nursing and current licensure by New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse. One-year geriatric experience preferred or similar experience. Proficient or able to become proficient in the utilization of an electronic medical record system. Our Licensed Practical Nurse must have an empathetic personality, positive attitude, strong communication skills and people skills and be a team player.

• 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm


• 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
