We currently have an exciting opportunity for a RCM Vendor Analyst I.

The RCM Vendor Analyst I supports RCM operations by analyzing and auditing outside vendor processes for improvement within RCM operations. Supports processes and action plans to meet organizational target goals. Utilizes Sheridan’s Lean process (Kaizen) to facilitate continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Identifies, Investigates and assists in the development of action plans to resolve operational billing issues.
• Documents business processes and practices in order to standardize RCM Operations and support SOX controls and compliance policies.


• Must produce comprehensive documentation and reports that can be easily shared with executive leadership.


• Must produce and utilize excel templates for auditing purposes.


• Exercises some independent judgment and a certain degree of creativity and latitude.


• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify business objectives


• Challenges and improves business processes within the department


• Able to work independently under supervision and use demonstrated leadership capabilities


• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job


• Manages requests according to business needs and priorities


• Maintains working knowledge of current Physician Billing requirements and software technologies


• May train end users to operate new or modified processes within the department.


• May participate in discussions to analyze and improve business processes across departments.


• Promotes a knowledge-sharing environment


• Works with end-users during User Acceptance Testing


• Some travel for off-site support may be required


• Other duties as assigned


• Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.

• Ability to analyze and optimize RCM business processes


• Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies


• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills


• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment


• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


• Exhibits effective verbal and written communication skills


• Must have a deep understanding of RCM industry standards and develop the same for all of Sheridan’s standards for all functional areas of revenue cycle including rules that may be from a federal, state or local level which would affect billing and collecting efforts

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 2 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

• Microsoft Office Suite – primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot tables


• Knowledge of Electronic interface processes (preferred, not required)


• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and technology solutions.
