What we're looking for:

You are a Senior Cloud Business Operations Manager working within a close-knit team of Cloud Engineering and Cloud Operations professionals and interacting regularly with other departments in the organization. You're a high-horsepower generalist who can step in and solve challenging problems using business intuition and employing your experience in areas such as financial modeling, market research, process hygiene, product awareness, and quantitative analysis. You possess strong interpersonal and organization skills and have a background in the software technology industry or other related experience.

Position Overview:

We are rapidly developing and expanding its portfolio of large-scale cloud applications across all product lines, including app/desktop virtualization, networking, and content collaboration. These applications must deliver enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and integration while leveraging consumer internet economies of scale in multiple clouds (and in hybrid scenarios that reach behind the enterprise firewall). This requires excellent architecture and dev-ops process in software development, operations, and site reliability engineering.

Role Responsibilities:


  • Provide and facilitate strategic guidance to Unified Cloud Engineering (UCE) teams, bringing deep knowledge of business operations standard methodologies.


  • Develop and organize new programs and activities to support the strategic direction of UCE teams.


  • Create and provide insights (based on data) for Key Performance Indicators and standardized business metrics.


  • Facilitate the creation of, and manage dashboards, regional reports and executive review documents


  • Partner with Leadership to ensure compliance across all projects.


  • Demonstrate experience proactively recognizing a challenge or problem and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions.


  • Think creatively to determine how to streamline processes and improve the overall efficiency of the team, including team communication, standard methodologies, etc.


  • Manage key business cadence activities such as planning, resource justification and allocation.


  • Build strong global processes that are meant to scale, yet flexible enough to address the unique needs of specific geographies.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Thrive and work well with others in fast-paced, highly demanding environment

  • Ability to deliver thoughtful, accurate and timely work product


  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities


  • Advance Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook)


  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management


  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of Business Operations experience preferred, with some experience in Cloud environments


  • Master's Degree level education


  • Project Management Certification


  • Technology field background


  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Trello, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
