IHG Army Hotels Fort Leonard Wood is currently hiring for a full-time Room Attendant in our Housekeeping department.  The starting rate of pay for this position is $11.98 per hour.

Your day to day

This position has overall responsibility for cleaning and servicing guest rooms throughout the hotel.  This includes but is not limited to:  making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, cleaning full service kitchens with stoves, refrigerators and ovens.  You will also be lifting/moving heavy items such as: mattresses and furniture.   

You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas such as:  restrooms, laundry and sitting areas when needed.  This includes sweeping, mopping, floors and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This position is a physically demanding job which requires the ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling heavy objects, frequent bending, stooping and kneeling and going up/down stairs.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays)


• Must have excellent hospitality skills


• Good communication skills


• Must be able to gain entry on Federal Military Installation
