To coordinate with all appropriate parties to verify errors are properly resolved before funding, shipping, and delivering loans to investors
Ensure loans to be delivered are compliant with regulatory and Credit Union policies and delivered according to all investor requirements
Serve as the liaison between mortgage lending staff, other credit union departments, investors and third party vendors
Provide support to the Post Closing Supervisor, providing leadership, guidance, testing, and special projects
Remain proficient and knowledgeable with Mortgage Lending products, procedures, and regulations
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Treasury Department to confirm loans being delivered to investors. Prepare loan file and system and any additional requirements to transmit and ship loans to investors. Resolve any errors with the investor and third-party vendors. Complete transfers of loans to pending sale portfolio for Treasury hedging requirements. Updating and maintaining investor files both physically and in the LOS system. Transferring data files to investors as required by each investor. Work throughout the month clearing exceptions with the investor.
Assist Post Closers as needed with daily tasks.
Research and maintain knowledge of progressing loan program guidelines and loan sale requirements. Understand and meet all regulatory guidelines to guarantee loan compliance.

Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+ years’ of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master’s Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience.
Minimum work experience:
2+ years combined experience in customer service, financial services, real estate, accounting, or finance-related field.
(Preferred) 6+ months mortgage or consumer loan related experience in a credit union environment.
Technical or specialized knowledge/skills:
Knowledge of Mortgage Lending business terminology and process flow.
Knowledge of 1st mortgage products.
Knowledge of investor selling, delivery, and servicing guidelines.
Knowledge of lending regulations and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau requirements.
Knowledge in reading and understanding documents such as appraisals and closing disclosures.
Knowledge in analyzing post-closing documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ability to learn how to analyze issues and create positive outcomes for all interested parties within the required regulations.
Ability to learn how to anticipate impact of actions and how to properly resolve additional issues.
Ability to prioritize/manage workload and allocate resources.
Organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task in an ever-changing environment.

Environmental, physical and psychological requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and operating a telephone. Must be able to type at least 30 words per minute. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. Must be flexible with schedule to work overtime as needed based on demands of the membership. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Salary range for this position: $18.58 - $25.14 (This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based upon performance)
