Job Description
The Washington Post's FP&A department is seeking a Financial Analyst with experience in financial planning, modeling, and analysis. This role requires good technical Excel skills, but also a sense of creativity and curiosity in the constantly evolving operations of a print and digital media business.
The ideal candidate is expected to be relatively self-sufficient within a close-knit team environment, inquisitive, quick to synthesize data into information, and capable of tackling multiple priorities. The expectation is to become a trusted FP&A partner to key stakeholders. That trust is earned through solid technical analytical work and consistent performance. This person is expected to espouse this approach and mindset in becoming a subject matter expert in specific coverage areas within the business, with a special focus on revenue growth.
