What you wil do

Reporting directly to the Finance Director for a Product Business Unit, you will have a pivotal role on the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The team member will be responsible for preparation and review of financial plans, forecasts and results. In order to complete tasks and meet deadlines, the analyst must work independently, with financial systems (SAP/HFM) and build effective working relationships with operational finance teams and other business partners.

How you will do it


  • Manage the month end close process for all non-manufacturing locations as well as oversee the closing process, including assisting on all plant locations

  • Lead FP&A team budgeting and forecasting cycles and provide related analysis for management review.

  • Complete and distribute required analysis for monthly financial reviews (primarily sales, product mix, warranty, SG&A)

  • Identify and execute opportunities to drive profitable sales growth and improved segment income.

  • Manage the HQ SGA and Cost of sales budgets and manage teams providing periodic reporting to department owners

  • Review payroll data and other personnel related costs with plant controllers/Business Center accounting team and own

  • Work closely with the Monterrey Business Center and Bratislava Business Center to monitor Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and other key trade working capital metrics

  • Maintain and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority policy for sales credits and align Buy Smart set up with approved authorization  

  • Improve processes to ensure balance sheet integrity

  • Oversee warranty reserve models and analysis, ensure alignment with Quality and Operations teams

  • Performs special studies and analyses as needed

  • Ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional accounting/internal control procedures, SOX compliance and reporting requirements

What we look for


  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance   

  • 5-10 years of experience; preferably in an FP&A role at a large Corporation

  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft suite, SAP, and HFM - Hyperion Financial Management preferred

  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting required.

  • Outstanding ability to communicate, motivate and partner with business operation leaders

  • Ability to travel up to a potential 10% of the time.
