SUMMARY: Works in partnership with multiple lines of business, including Retail Banking to design, develop and execute training programs that support the bank's strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Facilitates a variety of training programs for new and existing bank employees.
Presents information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, certification tests, videos and lectures.
Performs administrative duties associated with program delivery (training room maintenance and set up, rosters, grading assessments, supply orders, conference room coordination).
Conducts analysis and compiles reports as needed.
Provides feedback on participant's performance in class to managers and human resources partners.
Makes recommendations regarding the continued employment of new hires, based on their ability to master assigned training.
Develops and updates training curriculum tools, reference manuals and job aids.
Participates on project teams to identify client training needs and training delivery methods.
Assists in the development and facilitation of special project training (new products, policy/procedures, system enhancements).
Recommends and implements improvements to course materials and delivery based on participant feedback.
Works with Subject Matter Experts to gain comprehensive knowledge of the subject area being trained and ensures the development and validation of training content are reviewed and approved by the proper parties
Assists in the development and facilitation of specialized training initiatives.
25% -- 50% travel required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree preferred plus a minimum 3 years of banking experience.
3-5 years of training delivery experience required. May consider additional experience in the financial services industry and an Associate's degree in lieu of Bachelors.
