JOB SUMMARY

Guardian Flight, dba Guardian Flight Alaska, is seeking an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-III to serve an assignment to support COVID-19 Testing.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Under the sponsorship of the Medical Director, perform COVID-19 testing
• Safely and appropriately lift, carry, and transport patients utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques, always keeping patient safety and comfort as top priorities


• Clearly and completely document all patient care using approved format


• Maintain a clean, orderly environment in crew quarters


• Abide by all company standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook


• Must be able to operate a company vehicle according to state law and company policy


• Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner


• Complete other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required. 


• 
  Licensure: Current State of Alaska EMT-I, EMT-II, EMT-III or Paramedic License and any state Driver’s License.  Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).


• 
  Experience: Previous COVID-9 testing experience is preferred
