A jobholder in this role is expected to use a deep history in Servicing and Debt Collection organizations to serve as a Qualifying Individual for regulatory purposes, help increase the mortgage portfolio by developing business contacts, and assist in managing the operations of CMSC’s mortgage loan Servicing and Debt Collection activities. In addition, to key accountabilities for reviewing and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of defined Customer SLAs.
In this role, the jobholder is expected to have a mortgage servicing background, obtain and hold licenses when required, and be an Officer of CMSC.
Responsibilities:
Have experience with NMLS licensing activities and help expand those licenses where we don’t have them today across servicing and collections.
Attracts new mortgage clients by developing relationships within the Mortgage community.
Be the intermediate level of escalation between the team and client’s business.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes team mission by completing related results as needed.
Meet DO Team financial objectives by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions
Supporting existing relationships within the Mortgage portfolio

Must haves
A mortgage network and Knowledge of Mortgage Industy and Softwares prevalent in the market
At least five years of recent experience within mortgage servicer/debt collection
Minimum KSAs
Excellent customer service & people management skills
Experience on US loan servicing regulations
Certification on US Mortgage or Lending domain desirable (any institute)
Develop and maintain superior customer connect
Follow the governance mechanism established with the client
Help develop technology advancements and process improvements
Keep track of all customer feedback/ process issues. Drive actions towards delivery excellence
Resource Planning, Recruitment and Work Allocation
Ensure that all committed deliverables and services are rendered on schedule and at the defined quality levels
Develop performance standards, metrics and goals and manage the achievement of those goals
Prepare and send operational reports and information to client, management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
Total 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Servicing/Debt Collection
