Job Location: Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs and Buckley AFB, Aurora, CO
Primary Function(s):
The position supports the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) on an Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract. The staff provides systems cybersecurity assistance for:
Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
Continuous Monitoring
Cybersecurity Engineering
Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Support
Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and Audit Support
Job Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to:
Participate in product teams, meetings, change control boards, and working groups to ensure the continued alignment of cybersecurity requirements in the technical baselines
Perform security impact analysis on system changes and prepare letters of assurance, security impact letters, and risk assessment letters
Review and provide recommended updates to program cybersecurity policies and plans
Provide written evaluations portraying system progress on RMF compliance
Conduct and/or report annual FISMA requirements and maintain records
Support engineering, installation, and implementation of DCO enhancement/modification equipment/software solutions
Perform cybersecurity vulnerability management
Create and maintain continuous monitoring plans
Perform level 1-3 System Architect and Engineer duties
Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are effectively integrated into IS and components through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration
Receive and review ACAS reports for each system and characterize risk
Review test plans, test results, and observe system testing for security control implementation
Handle a variety of cybersecurity related special projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
DoDI 8570.01-M, IAM 1 and/or IAT level 2 certification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years in IAT and/or IAM level 2 functions
Secret clearance, eligible for Top Secret or Top Secret (depending on position)
Experience in one or more of the primary functions
Detail oriented, organized, and good customer service skills
Strong initiative, problem solver, and ability to work with minimum supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CISSP or CAP certification
Top Secret clearance, eligible for SCI
Prior experience supporting SMC or USSF
Prior experience as ISSO, ISSE, ISSM, or Security Control Assessor

Travel 5-10%.
