Data Steward Analyst (SAP - Master Data) at General Mills, Inc in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Description:

Data Steward Analyst will provide necessary support to the Data Stewardship organization in executing Data Governance Framework for a given data domain. This individual will have responsibilities for executing data remediation activities, facilitating creation or update of passive data rules, data cataloguing, monitoring and preparing data quality reports.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Data Stewardship activities through development of data rules, data quality metrics, data profiling and data cataloguing  


• Identify, consolidate, and resolve data quality issues to enable trusted datain partnership with business owners 


• Identify areas of improvement and bring ideas for further data flow simplification and standardization 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree


• Knowledge of SAP, master data


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 


• Strong system and business acumen 


• Attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies 


• Tenacity to find and resolve issues 


• Ability to prioritize what’s important and take action 


• Self-starter and self-motivated 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of customer master data domain


• Experience with data analyses, proficiency with spreadsheets 


• Experience with data governance solutions 


• Basic understanding of data concepts
