OVERVIEW

Opportunity to join the One Global Baking Platform Frozen Dough Pillar, with focus on driving innovation and growth for the Convenience and Foodservice Segment. The ITQ Development Specialist is responsible for delivering differential innovation in our custom commercial channel. This role requires partnership with the business team to generate insights on where to play and the ability to optimize and commercialize ideas for launches in F'22 and beyond. This role involves influencing the business on technical feasibility, bringing new ideas to life through a CFD mindset and developing a strong operational network both internally and externally to bring these products to market.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support Design, development, and commercialization products that meet all consumer, operator, business, and manufacturing constraints


• Development and execution of a robust technical plan to effectively manage and mitigate technical risk


• Independent leadership of complex projects


• Ownership of pilot plant unit operations


• Plant trial leadership and commercialization with internal and external manufacturers


• Design and execution of technical plans (formula Design of Experiments, shelf life studies, analytical submissions, etc.)


• Procurement and management of ingredients, including contacting suppliers and sourcing


• Develop and leverage internal and external networks; demonstrate the power of networks to others


• Apply appropriate technical rigor to ensure solid project execution

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-Year Degree


• Comfortable in pilot plant and plant settings, at internal and ESC locations


• Ability to flex based on business needs and manage multiple projects


• Experience working in teams to deliver results. Leadership within a team and ownership within your work


• Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a team environment


• Critical thinking & problem-solving skills. Ability to assess and solve technical/mechanical problems


• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment; desire to learn new concepts quickly and apply in productive ways


• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple competing priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated acumen and experience in the full product development cycle from bench to commercialization


• Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a cross functional team, consumers, and customers


• Business acumen skills to collaborate across boundaries


• Previous work experience in a similar field (Food product development experience/Laboratory experience)


• Experience advancing and commercializing initiatives
