Position Overview:

The Commerce Practice Lead is responsible for creating, driving, maintaining, and executing the ATG Delivery relationship and strategy within the new Commerce world. The Practice Lead collaborates with ATG Sales and Alliances, Marketing, Advisory, and Operations within ATG to drive strategy and execution of the relationship. This person is responsible for the content, tools, processes and guidance for decisions on growing and scaling the Commerce team as well as how we deliver (methodology, tools, accelerators, etc.). This person is also expected to maintain expertise on the Commerce solutions, product roadmap, and place in the market.

This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a collaborative disposition, and a willingness to fill multiple roles and manage multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business and conceptual technical expertise, and the drive, influencing skills, and ability to collaborate with many constituencies in ATG and Commerce to grow the business and deliver with quality.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborates with Alliances and Strategy on the creation and execution of ATG’s Partner Strategy specific to B2B Commerce.

  • Lead Delivery strategy alongside Cognizant to service global B2B Commerce Customer base.

  • Build and nurture key relationships within B2B Commerce such as Professional Services, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Product and Marketing as well as key relationships at the Executive level.

  • Support sales cycles and assist with scoping of new work as well as actively pursuing new deals alongside Sales and Alliances.

  • Provide general Delivery oversight to all active projects; ensure ATG best practices are followed and handle escalations as they occur.

  • Provide the vision and plan to establish and mature a delivery implementation model and how it is executed in the Commerce portfolio of projects.

  • Proactively drives project teams to achieve business metrics and financials for the B2B Commerce portfolio.

  • Provide guidance and execute on training needs; continue to drive improvement to training content and approach.

  • Drive efforts with the Community of Practice to grow and improve our delivery quality.

  • Collaborate with other ATG Practice Leaders to build delivery competency; be able to make recommendations on growing the practice or reallocating resources as business demands change.

  • Interface with ATG Executive Leadership on key initiatives and decisions impacting the partnership.

  • Attend key SFDC partner events (Sales Kickoff, Partner Kickoff, Dreamforce).

  • Annual Partner Program feedback coordination and submission. This includes but it not limited to CSAT, ACV and accreditation numbers.

  • Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics, to include regular ACV reporting and reconciliation of those reports with.

Key Experience:

Demonstrates success and experience in the following areas:


  • Deep understanding of B2B Commerce use cases and customer value propositions and how Commerce interacts with other systems in the quote to cash ecosystem. 

  • Subject Matter Expertise of the Salesforce B2B Commerce platform, the uses cases this platform can support, and an understanding of the product evolution and roadmap. 

  • Ability to directly or indirectly lead a project team through client implementations, escalations, and roadblocks. 

  • Experience working and collaborating with Delivery Teams, Sales, Solution Engineering, and Client Executives

  • Experience and/or existing relationships with SF B2B Commerce through delivery project work or other relationships.

  • Strong track record of excellent communication and relationship-building.

  • Proven ability to provide leadership and direction for own initiatives, as well as through project teams.

  • Ability to build client relationships; strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience, risk management and value realization built on the foundation of Cognizant leadership capabilities

  • Ability to grow into having a senior executive presence – possesses an interest and passion toward engaging senior level executives in grasping and enabling fundamentals of business change through consulting solutions

  • Excellent problem solving, business communication (written & oral), and client management skills are essential

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly-matrixed environment 

Education


  • Bachelor's degree required OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Location and Travel:


  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

  • Desired locations are ATG Delivery Centers, located in Missoula, MT, Cincinnati, OH, Kansas City, MO or St. Louis, MO, however for senior experienced professionals working virtual may be an option.
