The Float - Physical Therapist provides physical therapy patient examination, evaluation, intervention, documentation, parent/caregiver education, communication and coordination of care with medical/clinical staff and outside agencies as appropriate within the guidelines designated by the department and the Delaware Valley policies and procedures. Actively participates in departmental education activities in order to expand knowledge of patient populations and evidence-based practice.

License and Certification:
Weekend requirement: 6 days per 6 month schedule. As a Physical Therapist Float, you will be required to stay in the position for at least 12 months before being eligible to transfer to another position within Nemours. This position will be primarily an outpatient float position however coverage within acute and rehab departments may be required.
