Job Description:

The COVID-19 Vaccine Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics of the organization's COVID-19 Vaccine response. This includes providing leadership, guidance, resources and direct supervision to program staff to support the safe and effective provision of COVID-19 Vaccine communication, registration, and distribution to the diverse patient populations that we proudly serve in accordance with defined guidelines and guidance from the CDC, NH Division of Public Health Services and the NH Bureau of Infectious Disease Control.
This is a Full time temporary benefited position. We anticipate that the position will continue for approximately 6-8 months. Candidate hired will have the option to apply for open positions after the end of the program.
Primary Responsibilities
· Responsible for the design and execution of the organization's COVID-19 Vaccine response. Develop an efficient and service-oriented strategy that will include identifying staffing needs, outlining communication methods, creating workflows, and delivery of services. Initially, this individual will be managing internal activities and processes to refer patients to external sites such as the State of NH 13 locations, and then transitioning a plan to potentially open and run an independent clinic for patients (and potentially the public in the future) that is likely to be established at a new location of care. Because the situation with COVID Vaccine availability is so fluid, and the State of NH and CDC guidelines are regularly changing, this individual will manage the responses to those changes and work closely internally with clinical leadership to plan appropriate changes and responses to those updates as they occur.
· Day-to-day management and oversight of vaccine operations, and Amoskeag Health's COVID-19 Vaccination Program. This will include recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, and supervision of staff, patient communication and scheduling, inventory management, and vaccine chain of custody.
· Responsible for program compliance with the CDC Vaccination Program requirements and CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the vaccine-specific manufacturers' requirements for usage, storage and handling.
· Responsible for identifying and facilitating training necessary to help ensure staff competency. Develop methods for measuring and monitoring quality of services provided, including identifying potential knowledge deficits or opportunities for performance and process improvement, facilitating an action plan to provide additional training or logistical improvements to ensure adherence to current and new organizational policies, and state and federal guidelines.
· Ensure vaccine program is safely conducted in accordance with all regulatory requirements, defined CDC, NH DHHS risk mitigating safety and infection prevention and control clinic guidelines.
· Ensure reporting of any adverse events following vaccination to the VAERS system. (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System).
· Facilitate vaccine clinic required documentation including reporting within 24 hours of patient administration in EMR and report Vaccine Administration Data as directed by NH DHHS.

Qualifications: NH Licensed RN, APRN, PA, MBA or BA/BS in Business/Human Services with healthcare management experience.
