We are searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the sales of Bose Professional products throughout the states of IA, WI, IL, MI, MN, IN , NE, and The Dakotas. They will be responsible for driving attainment of strategic goals by perfecting the mix of new business development and harvesting existing, legacy business. Following global, national, and local strategies to manage the territory, this individual works within the integrated APSG Sales team to support all markets and distribution models to obtain strategic and revenue objectives .

Specific Responsibilities


  • Manage day-to-day activities in territory.

  • Plan and manage sales efforts within the territory working with the regional business manager, field sales engineers, and others.

  • Launch new products and drive sales of these products to meet divisional goals

  • Drive regular reporting on results in territory to management.

  • Partner development and growth.

  • Work to partner and develop key reseller/integrator, distributor, consultant, and end-user partners. Heavy preference for experience and existing relationships in specific verticals: Unified Communications/Enterprise/Conferencing, Entertainment, Higher Ed., and Retail/Hospitality.

  • Set annual goals and quarterly tasks for key partners. Monitor and update.

  • Perfect a mix of achieving immediate revenue while developing long-term opportunities and relationships

  • Build a strong pipeline of long-term Projects.

  • Build a heathy immediate Run-Rate business

  • work immediate sales (stock buy-ins, incentive-based orders, unique opportunities, etc.).

  • Facilitate distributor partner Sell-Through business

  • Implement key strategic initiatives as directed by the RBM and senior management.

  • Greater Marketing and Sales efforts.

  • Partner and Customer channeling and support efforts.

  • Data-driven initiatives such as database work, efforts in automation, etc.

  • Technical skills in professional audio, the audio-conferencing market, and commercial sound installations.

  • A passion for audio and music is encouraged.

  • Strong sales background and confident approach.

  • Collaborate with other managers and groups within the organization as needed to ensure that divisional goals are met.

  • Work to achieve team goals such as shared accounts, marketing collaborations.

  • Work with the business-development team to develop leads and opportunities, allocating to key partners and tracking them accordingly.

  • Customer Relationship Management software usage.

  • Regularly track and update sales and opportunities in order to create an accurate sales forecast with system software.

  • Use system software to gain business insight, make decisions on where and how to work, and report out efforts and results.

  • Regularly use various sales, marketing, and analysis tools within the system software to manage and maintain data, implement projects, and support general business efforts and practices.

Requirements:


  • Must be a very self-driven individual, who works well in both team and entrepreneurial environments.

  • Eight to ten years sales experience in the Professional Audio/Video industry and existing relationships with industry partners and targets is also required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Microsoft Office and CRM platform usage experience.

  • Position reports into Regional Business Manager (RBM) and is supported by a Field Sales Engineer, APSG Pre-Sales, and PTS Pro Technical Support.
