Job Description:

We Offer

  • Oversight of the CM&A revenue reporting system (Ernie), which collects CM&A revenues at a deal level. System is used to analyze revenues and assess performance on a product, industry, and country coverage basis. Responsibilities include working with Product Control to ensure timely and accurate recording (consistency with the GL/GPL), and ensuring the gathered information meets the reporting needs of CM&A, CFO and other areas.

  • Managing the Capital Markets derivative revenues; which involves handling our Pune team which works with GTS personnel and client revenue reporting systems to identify and post revenue transfers into Capital Markets.

  • Coordinate revenue transfers between Americas and EMEA CM&A areas, as well as transfers between CM&A and APAC/SUB.

  • Manage the SGC process for CM&A

  • Various daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for CM&A, and other users.

  • Coordinate revenue sharing agreement documentation


Position:

  • Opportunity to become intimate with the various revenue collection and reporting systems and the linkages between them (i.e., GPL, PeopleSoft, Spider, Essbase).

  • A specialist in how Spider (the IBCM revenue capture system) works for revenue reporting and make sure that the infrastructure and mapping between systems reflects CM&A business needs.

  • Conversant in the various joint venture arrangements, assist in documenting RSA agreements and ensure that transactions are booked in accordance with these arrangements.

  • Build positive relationships with CFO, CM&A, Product Control, and other Firm personnel from whom we receive, or to whom we provide, information to ensure that needs are met.

  • Coordinate staff in India who provide operational support for the function.

  • Participate in various projects designed to improve and automate processes.


Specific responsibilities:

  • Subject matter specialist on the CM&A revenue reporting system (Ernie)

  • Assist in supervising the Pune staff who perform most of the routine tasks

  • Coordinate CM&A hierarchy updates (GBM)

  • Various Firm control tasks (FX hedging, GBM signoffs, GLASS signoff,RCM locks)

  • Manage intra CM&A revenue transfers

  • Monitor the SGC (Single Global Currency) transfer processes.

  • Prepare and update reporting templates for our Pune team to process.

  • Ad hoc reporting

You Offer


  • Experienced 3-4 years of reporting, banking, and finance/accouting

  • Familiarity with CS departmental hierarchy (GBM) and Firm reporting systems (Essbase/TM1) is very helpful

  • Outstanding ability to work independently and in a team

  • Understanding of Investment Banking products helpful, but not required
