What do you get to do in this position? We are currently looking to add an exceptionally talented Sr. System Engineer with System Engineering experience to our growing team. The Sr. System Engineer will work with a team of engineers to design, develop and implement a new architecture utilizing agile methodology. The Sr. System Engineer will be responsible for:



    • Facilitating the System Team to design, develop and implement a new system project utilizing an Agile Engineering approach
    • Analyzing the customer inputs to create use cases and define the operational context of the system
    • Transforming the customer inputs into system specifications
    • Deriving the system architecture based on the System Engineering activities
    • Maintaining the System Documentation to keep it consistent throughout the system development and release
    • Presenting the status and activity outputs to project stakeholders
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving the system team through the System Engineering activities to derive the required engineering deliverables
  • Responsible for clarification and analysis of the needs, expectations and requirements from Marketing and other internal stakeholders for the project
  • Create use cases based on user requirements
  • Transform the User, Industrial, Security, Safety & Regulatory Requirements into System Requirements
  • Utilize SysML to document and maintain the outcomes of the system engineering activities
  • Collaborate with the Systems Engineering discipline within Schneider Electric to further refine and extend the standard framework for developing systems
  • Provide status updates of the System Engineering activities at various design reviews

This job might be for you if:


  • 7 years experience performing system engineering
  • Experience collaborating on a systems team developing complex systems involving hardware, software, and electromechanic components
  • Hands-on experience with Agile Tools such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Hands-on experience with Requirements Management tools such as DOORS, JAMA, R4J
  • Hands-on experience with Systems Engineering Diagram tools such as Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, Cameo
  • Experience writing use cases
  • Experience writing specifications
  • Experience defining/collaborating on system architecture decision
  • Bachelor's degree - preferably in software, systems, computer science or electrical engineering
  • Preferred Skills - 10 years performing systems engineering
  • Experience in Energy Management and/or Electrical Distribution
  • Experience with IOT technologies
