thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Software Developer in Atlanta, GA.

We are looking for a talented Lead developer who is comfortable working as a dev-ops developer along with taking responsibilities of a back-end developer. This position requires juggling multiple responsibilities - help other team members with dev-ops related responsibilities, maintaining websites and databases, coding and design. This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking C# developer to enhance his/her skill and be part of a fast paced environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Develop applications that are high quality, scalable and reliable


• Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software applications


• Lead our team in technology, best practices, and application development disciplines


• Work closely with internal clients to determine goals and needs


• Develop web applications that integrate with disparate systems across the enterprise with web services


• Work alongside UI designer/developer, front-end web developer(s), marketing automation administrator and analyst/programmer

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent


• 8+ Years of relative experience with emphasis on .NET technologies


• 8+ years of experience in C#, .NET and general web development

• Experience in web services and related technologies (WCF, webAPI, JSON, REST, SOAP, WSDL).


• Experience in Azure Dev Ops and Azure portal.


• Expertise in setting up project, security, build and release pipeline azure dev-ops.

• Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience in relational database design and modeling tools.


• Experience in writing quality unit tests and performing integration testing.


• .NET 4.5 (C#)


• NET MVC


• SQL Server (Both on premise and azure version)


• Windows Server/Internet Information Server (IIS) Administration.


• Full Life Cycle Development.


• Expertise in Object Relational Mapper (ORM) like Entity Framework, Hibernate and nHibernate.


• Awareness of emerging technologies is required.


• Ability to configure resources in Azure Portal (creation of resources like new SQL or VM instance, migrate existing resources, etc.).


• Ability to work as an Azure dev-ops point of contact for creating, maintaining and fine-tuning resources.


• Client-side development technologies, including jQuery, Ajax, AngularJS and angular 2+, angular 7-8 etc.


• Able to effectively use source control systems and workflows in a small team environment; preferably TFS or GIT.


• Soft Skills including attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, team and customer focus.
