Are you someone that would like to say, "I built that emergency vehicle"? We are looking for our next Emergency Vehicle Technician. We have specialized in up fitting law enforcement vehicles for over 20 years. If you are motivated to learn, we will train you!
A career opportunity for a willing candidate! It helps to have a basic knowledge of vehicle wiring and the ability to read and understand product installation instructions.
Duties of the position: Must dismantle the interior and exterior of new vehicles (headliners, seats, carpeting/flooring, headlights, taillights, & trunks) in preparation for complete build then install lighting, sirens, cameras, radios, weapon locks, computers, push bumpers, prisoner containment systems.
Physical requirements: Standing, walking, bending and stretching around and inside vehicles. Manual dexterity is important for wiring, soldering, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient vision to read instructions and recognize color coded electrical wires.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have a clear driving record which will be verified through the DMV. All applicants must agree to a background check. Must have a clear record!
