We are currently recruiting for a Junior Accountant. The Junior accountant is responsible for the general accounting functions including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage and perform accounts payable function to include:

Obtain approvals on all invoices
Input all invoices and expense reports into financial software
Mail checks
Establish and maintain vendor relationships
Annual 1099's

• Administer bank activity:

Data entry
Monthly bank reconciliations
Register documentation
Reconcile with billing department

• Manage company credit card activity to ensure accurate documentation and expense coding by all users
• Preparing and entering Journal Entries
• Assist in preparation for annual financial audit and other financial reports
• Contribute to strong intracompany relationships through positive interactions with staff. Respond to questions and request for information in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned
