You are what Illumina is looking for. In your future role at the Wisconsin site of the global leader in genetic sequencing, you will be one of a group of scientists who produce the fuel for Illumina’s sequencing and array-based solutions for analysis of genetic variation and function, in realms from cancer research to agriculture. Working on diverse teams, contribute to the build and release of quality products, participate in tracking and managing project timelines and deliverables, and collaborate with other teams to improve quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
Perform assays that measure enzyme activity, functionality, and impurities of manufactured products
Complete all testing documentation in compliance with cGMP
Contribute to projects related to QC processes and assays
Author and review technical and quality system related documentation
Collaborate as part of a scientific team including active participation in team and cross functional meetings
Support and potentially participate in investigational and validation testing
Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work on diverse teams and learn quickly
Strong lab/assay execution skills
Strong communications skills, with the ability to think critically
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines
Willingness to accommodate quick turnaround times and short-term planning
Detail-oriented and motivated to proactively take ownership and drive tasks with limited guidance
Education:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of STEM related experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of STEM related experience
