Manager, Procurement Transformation - Projects (12 months contract) at Liberty Utilities (Canada) Corp in Sikeston, Missouri

Purpose


This position is required to support procurement transformation activities such as project management, coaching, training, change management, as well as occasionally developing and implementing sourcing strategies.


Accountabilities



  • Aid in procurement strategy, process and organization optimization, technology review and implementation, metrics evaluation and development, and delivery of results pertaining to evaluation in those areas

  • Assist in structuring and executing operational and strategic oriented initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and developing final recommendations

  • Create and manage the development of business cases, communications, training, and change measurement plans while providing support across all work streams

  • Collaborate with Change Leads to ensure change management interventions and communications are aligned with organizations goals and initiatives

  • Design and optimize procurement processes utilizing best practices within Liberty’ industries and across procurement

  • Support in the development and facilitation of training on new processes and ensuring buy-in across stakeholder base

  • Stakeholder management activities including interacting, communicating, presenting and aligning with executive sponsors, leadership and other decision makers at the client

  • Acting in a PMO fashion as a single point of contact on projects

  • Expert knowledge of the 7-step sourcing process, category management, strategic sourcing, tactical buying, procurement operations, contract management, risk management & supplier relationship management.

  • Must have a proven track record of leading & managing sourcing teams

  • Demonstrate proficiency in leading and influencing teams without formal authority;


Education and Experience


 


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years Procurement or Supply Chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and / or operational efficiency projects

  • Demonstrated understanding of some / all of the major indirect spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex and pressured environments

  • Demonstrating extensive-level experience in implementing SAP ECC Ariba, and/or S4 Hana;

  • Expert proficiency in basic MS Office© software including experience in MS Project and other business systems
