Equipment Services Supervisor

Overview of the Equipment Services Supervisor

This position is responsible for leading a department in service and repair of small equipment.

 

Responsibilities

• Determine and set service priorities based off of needs.


• Meet or exceed internal customers' expectations.


• Set and hold department standards in safety, quality, output and 5S organization.


• Track results of team members and train team on new equipment.


• Teach, coach and assess direct reports to build a strong team.


• Learn the other factory department areas and be able to cover for peers.


• Be a strong contributor to overall factory drive for improvement and success.

 

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of proven leadership experience in service and repair and/or manufacturing.


• Strong computer skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Customer service mentality.


• Strong problem solving skills with a proactive versus reactive mentality.

 

Preferred:

• Lean manufacturing experience.


• 6 Sigma- Green belt or Black belt.


• Food or Beverage leadership experience.


• Coffee machine and Water cooler repair experience.
