Appriss Insights, is seeking a creative, forward thinking, Product Marketing Leader to join our growing Product Organization to drive strategic, efficient, and dynamic product marketing activities for our portfolio of products, focused on core business. 

This role will create succinct, competitive, and on-message Requests for Proposal (RFP) response process in our core legacy product space that reduces the amount of time subject matter experts (SMEs) spend on detailed responses. You will also work collaboratively with marketing, go-to-market, and product teammates to update and mature product positioning, messaging, and differentiation while also understanding and identifying target buyer and user segments for products and services in partnership with product management. This role will work closely with teams to infuse a cohesive go-to-market strategy with a thoughtful product communication approach, and will partner with the marketing group to create targeted campaigns that drive awareness, preference, purchase, and adoption. This role requires a superior grasp of our software and customers, a keen understanding of our marketplace, process oriented,  and excellent writing skills for delivering marketing resources.


The perfect candidate will address the following areas and have these skills, experience, and attributes:


  • Evaluate and construct a streamlined and competitive Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and other response process to ensure contract retention.

  • Consult on and guide go-to-market & feature communication, training and marketing materials for new product features and ongoing product adoption initiatives.

  • Discover the market landscape, other product offerings, market trends and customer segments to inform sales/RFP, marketing strategies and product messaging.

  • Ensure product messaging is effective and aligned both internally and externally.

  • Create impactful, easy-to-understand presentations and collateral that help our account management teams keep a competitive edge.

  • Develop value based product messaging and positioning for a wide range of buyer and user personas.

  • Guide creation of demo & training scripts, videos, datasheets, and interactive tools that address specific user flows and use cases.

  • Partner with marketing on content strategy and messaging for collateral that includes the corporate website, advertisements, blog posts, presentations, videos, white papers, data sheets and webinars.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product leadership to ensure that market feedback is continually captured and evaluated as part of the product roadmap


  • BA/BS degree

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a SaaS-based company

  • Strategic thinker

  • Highly motivated, resourceful problem solver with the ability to lead and interact effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Familiar with visual design principles for marketing and other materials 

  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Proven experience using data to make informed decisions

  • Demonstrable product marketing experience; could share collateral created in previous roles

  • Comfortable using full suite of Microsoft products as well as Adobe CC or similar

  • Positive attitude and great sense of humor
