JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for providing pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective customers. Develop and deliver Henry Schein One (HS1) presentations and product demonstrations. Design, validate, and present HS1 software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Present and articulate HS1 product's strengths, relative to competitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects. Keep up to date on business-critical dental solutions, HS1 products, roadmaps and services. Provide technical and sales support for either Dental Practice Management Solutions (Dentrix Ascend and Enterprise) and Tech Central Solutions; integrated Security, Networking and Connectivity across Hardware as a Service (Omnicore) or Client/Server (Computers & Servers, Peripherals, Networks & WAP, Security Solutions, Monitors, Expert Support & IT Services).
Participate in sales planning and business development activities. Develop and demonstrate moderately complex solutions. Architect solutions and prototype solutions for customers.
Actively participate in industry functions, seminars, and round tables to know the latest in industry.
Effectively consult with management of customer organizations. Interact with Product Management to refine Henry Schein One products in areas of expertise.
Provide exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product presentations, demonstrations, pilot implementations, and ongoing sales consultation.
Drive the adoption of HS1 solutions within strategic accounts, rapidly growing usage across departments within the enterprise. Translate product and technical features into customer insights and value drivers.
Develop and maintain training materials and deliver training to improve product knowledge and demo abilities of both inside and enterprise salespeople.
Build working knowledge of contending products and how to technically sell against them.
Work collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing and Engineering during the development, launch and continuing refinement of existing and new HS1 products.
Develop/maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends.
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum of 3 years of prior Pre-Sales Technical/Systems Engineering, or Solution Architect experience with software in a SaaS/HaaS Cloud environment, selling to C/VP level buyers
Dental Experience (Dentrix Ascend/Enterprise, Dental Technology and Related IT Hardware)
High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in entrepreneurial environments.
Extraordinary professional, sales, and technical capabilities; comfortable supporting both enterprise (field) and inside sales teams on targeted accounts
Ability to explain and resolve common technical aspects of SaaS software and practice management platforms
Ability to see and present 'the big picture', architect solutions to solve customer problems, and uncover business challenges and develop custom solutions
Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills; needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
Experience using Salesforce.com to track prospect and customer activities
Strong leadership and ability to lead, encouraging both individual and team accomplishments
Ability to learn new technologies
