About Agriculture
The Ag In-Field-Solutions division builds precision farming systems, including displays and automated guidance systems for agricultural vehicles. Farmers use our guidance systems to automatically steer their tractors with highly accurate GPS/GNSS based control. Our display systems automatically control farm implements performing operations like planting seeds, spraying fertilizer, and measuring crop yield in an optimal way based on soil conditions and agronomist prescriptions. Our displays send the farm data to our web-based farm and fleet management system Trimble Ag Business Software. We save water, fuel, chemicals, and time and increase crop yields along the way.
Job Summary
Trimble Agriculture is looking for product managers to join the Agriculture Product Management Team. We have a mix of Product Manager and Product Owner roles available in the product areas of GNSS, Application Controls, and Autonomy in precision agriculture. Roles available include:
Product Owner for Application Controls
Product Owner for GNSS
Product Manager for Autonomy
Responsibilities You Can Expect
Investigate. Identify and classify global agricultural trends and products currently available and underdevelopment in order to technically support and offer expertise in the Product Area. Work with Regional Marketing Managers to collect Voice of Customer input and competitive intelligence.
Advocate. Identify customer requirements, issues, and opportunities with current product offerings, as well as, new products under development. Develop customer value propositions for proposed development activities. Represent the Product Area in setting product priorities.
Implement. Design, develop, and launch innovative technologies and features in the Product Area that have been identified as complementary to Trimble’s overall Portfolio Roadmap.
Execute. Coordinate with Engineering and Operation teams to execute development initiatives that have been set in motion by the Product Management and Marketing teams.
Support. Advocate and troubleshoot products and features together with the Testing and Support teams on behalf of our customer and Trimble’s dealer network.
Skills & Experience Preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, science, engineering, or related field of study.
Software: Expertise in industry-standard in field communication protocols and machine controls, as well as, common business project management software packages.
Industry Experience. This position is a mid-level position. At least five (3+) years of product: design, development, and management experience along with domain expertise in the Product Area. Machine control experience is also preferred.
Professional Competency. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of customer requirements and workflows, competitive offerings, the product development life cycle, and exhibit strong interpersonal initiative and communication skills.

Note: This role can be remote in the Americas, so the compensation can vary depending on the region.
