Job Summary: This position is responsible for leading the corporation's treasury and financial planning and analysis activities including: obtaining financing; the receipt, disbursement and protection of cash; the preservation of company assets and the investment of surplus funds; specifically: cash management, banking and banking relations, insurance, credit and collections, trust investments and commodity hedging, managing the budget as well as other financial forecasting activities. Executes the company's treasury and cash-management strategies, as well as ensures the corporate debt instruments and credit facilities are in compliance with laws and indenture covenants.

Essential Functions:


  • Accounting: With the assistance of the Corporate Controller, responsible for the implementation and management of the accounting structure, methods, systems, operating procedures and regulatory and public market exchange requirements.

  • Investor and Board Relations: Works closely with the CFO and other senior management as appropriate, leads the effort to interface with the investment community, specifically individual and institutional investors, researches analysts, investment bankers and corporate partners.

  • Audit: Works with various external auditors while ensuring best practices for audit functions (e.g., IT, financial and operational).

  • Control: Responsible for ongoing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations; Develops and drives policies and controls to provide effective stewardship of the company's treasury and cash-management strategies. Monitors financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Planning/Forecasting: Works closely with senior management in the development and achievement of the strategic plan. Manages corporate-wide financial planning, procedures, metrics, budgeting and forecasting, project specific financial analysis and general risk analysis. This includes the annual budget, quarterly estimates, and implementation of a financial strategic plan.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting and analysis, both written and oral, of financial and associated business information to internal, external, and regulatory constituencies.

  • Finance: Responsible for the evaluation, analysis and execution of all capital raising and all other finance related projects. Assess' overall risk around cash management, payment processing, banking systems, and funding processes; develops and implements the overall strategy to mitigate risks.

  • Leasing: Seeks and coordinates the funding of lease capital to fund new fleet and office equipment needs.



Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a combination of financial, accounting, and/or commercial banking with experience leading a corporate treasury function required.
  • Must possess a high level of knowledge in capital markets; liquidity management; financial risk management; financial community relations; commercial bank operations; company operations; financial planning and analysis techniques; and accounting principles.
  • Results driven; ability to work with little or no direction; Highly autonomous; Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess the ability to think strategically and conceptually, as well as possess the detail orientation necessary to effectively implement plans.
  • Strive for effective communication that results in teamwork, shared knowledge and ideas.
