We are currently looking for our: Associate, Media Operations

We are seeking a passionate, bold, creative Associate, Media Operations.  In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating integrated Media campaigns, providing a high level of service to our clients and ensuring the successful execution of all assignments.  You will serve as a liaison between the URW Media Team, our Shopping Centers, External Clients and Production Vendors to ensure the successful delivery of all contracted media and experiential programs as contracted by the client and Westfield Media. 

Based in Los Angeles, the Associate, Media Operations reports to Manager, Media Sales and works closely with the entire Media team.  We are imaginative and bold, always pushing the boundaries to achieve results. In this role, your main missions are:


  • Accountable for developing/sourcing innovative new development projects, and ensuring product definition, profitability, Demonstrated experience in working with a Sales team to traffic and execute media programs. This experience will help you with the below functions within your role:

    • Maintain a strong working relationship with our Sales, Strategy and Planning team with an eye towards providing excellent service to our clients.

    • Coordinate and monitor advertising and experiential program trafficking, based on assigned accounts from your Account Manager.

    • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of integrated advertising campaigns with a focus on Digital OOH initiatives, ensuring that all assigned campaigns are executed on time and in accordance with the contracted terms of the program.

    • Scheduling digital files across the Westfield Digital Network using various CMS systems.

    • Perform end of campaign responsibilities; including ensuring complete proof of posting, full contract compliance with regards to posting, maintenance and take-down of the campaign and communicating relevant updates to other team members.

    • Deliver weekly optimization and monthly reporting of campaign pacing against metrics, including removal reports, occupancy, posting, campaign highlights, and delivered impression tracking.



  • An ability to work well with both internal URW teams and external vendors/clients. This ability will help you succeed in the below functions within your role:

    • Brief external agencies including creative, digital and media planning agencies to deliver campaign collateral (i.e. digital files, print artwork files, or printed collateral) against contracted terms.

    • Upon contract closure, you will collect all necessary artwork files from the client and work with a URW preferred print vendor to produce and then install campaign collateral.

    • Work with key stakeholders to implement campaign activity including: Sales Team, Sales Strategy, Center Teams, Event Team, and Operations Vendors.

    • Work closely with the Account Services team and Manager to help prioritize daily traffic tasks, responsibilities and functions. 

    • Effectively communicate business requirements and updates to key stakeholders.

    • Issue program invoices to the correct client A/P contacts and monitor this process to ensure all invoices are sent in a timely manner. Also, work closely with URW A/R department to collect all billings.

    • Assist in monitoring the Westfield digital network and working with external vendors to ensure screen issues are fixed in a timely manner.



What we are looking for

You. . .


  • Bachelor degree desired

  • 2-3 years of experience in an Account Management and/or Operations role, preferably with a focus on digital media

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Photoshop & Illustrator experience is a plus, but not necessary

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to respond positively to direction and receive feedback

  • Able to work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis 

  • Capable of consistently maintaining a professional and appropriate demeanor

  • Able to multitask in a fast paced and changing environment

  • Proven success in prioritizing duties and providing an exceptional account services experience 

  • Experience in working in a media sales organization, preferred out-of-home, or similar position

  • Experience working with media buying and/or selling agencies

  • Knowledge of and interest in the shopping center industry is desired but not required

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset who can work well within a team but can also work independently
