Job Description:

Title	Data/Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Subject Matter Expert
Description	In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $86,141 - $109,250. However, Sawdey Solution Services, Inc. will consider several factors when extending an offer to an applicant. These factors include, but not limited to, the position and associated responsibilities; and, an applicant's work experience, education, related training, and related skills. The Data/Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Subject Matter Expert will develop recommendations on future communication network system architectures that will attribute self-healing properties and will enable the warfighter to have constant, continuous communication with their intended systems. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Develop plans and realistic schedules on how to implement these architectures as well as develop Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) pricing of recommended solutions. Incorporate not only DoD systems into their plans but also current and future commercial systems and Enterprise Ground Services (EGS). Support S5M as a member or the Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) Integrated Product Team which includes analyzing, producing, and reviewing cyber related technical documents and provide recommendations and solutions to S5M. Analyze the Department of Defense Information Network operations and defense for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and incorporate this analysis into the strategy for EGS. Provide technical review and draft comments to S5M for the Science and Technology (S&T) process. Evaluate concepts and provide technical assessments of candidate S&T projects regarding potential advantages and limitations to S5M. Assist with proposal development, if necessary. Perform other duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements	Experience: Ten (10) years' space experience with four (4) years' space C2 experience and three (3) years' requirements experience, including demonstrated: Proficiency with DOD/NRO/commercial communication network systems; Proficiency with DODIN-Ops and cyber defense approaches. Proficiency in requirements dev/CBA/AoA processes; functional/ operating/system concepts development for new/existing systems. Proficiency in identifying requirements/acquisition/budgeting process interdependencies; developing pricing ROMs. Proficiency with JCIDS process and staffing products through AFSPC/HPT/AFROC/JROC. Proficiency in application of emerging concepts to system development. Proficiency in AFI 10-2801/AFSPCI 10-102, AFI 10-601/AFSPC Supp. Knowledge of DOD/NRO/commercial communication network system architectures with self-healing properties; ESBMC2 program requirements. Knowledge of DCO-S IPT processes and stakeholders. Knowledge of space satellite C2 units, weapon systems, and architectures. Knowledge of C2/space control/SSA CONOPS/ICD/CDD/CPD/ KPPs/KSA/NR-KPP; current AFSPC initiatives, including the SEV. Knowledge of operational-/strategic-level C2 structures; tactical, operational and strategic C2 operational and development stakeholders. Knowledge of HQ AFSPC Program Security Classification Guides. Education: Master's Degree preferred (cyber/communications related). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CISSP/CISM, DOD 8570 IAT/IAM level III. Other Required Skills & Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Security Clearance: Top Secret security clearance required; SCI eligible. US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
