Coordinates and performs a wide variety of CT procedures to provide data for use in treatment and diagnosis of injury and/or disease.
Assists the Radiologists and medical staff with procedures. Participates in the training of new personnel and in performance improvement programs. Participates in patient and family education. Observes patients and notifies appropriate personnel of significant changes/incidents. Starts IVs/INTs for isotope delivery.
Position Requirements
Registered Radiologic Technologist with advanced certification in Computed Tomography, A.R.R.T. (R) (CT). Minimum of one (1) year CT experience.
Working knowledge of image processing, reconstruction and PACS
Working knowledge of contrast administration, reactions and delivery methods
Knowledge and use of proper methods of medical documentation
Knowledge and use of standard procedures in the CT department
Experience with biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
BLS CPR certification (we can assist in getting your AHA certification)
