Cardno is seeking a Project Coordinator in Atlanta, GA.

Job Description:

Cardno is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist a multidisciplinary team of accomplished environmental engineers, biologists, archaeologists, planners, and environmental scientists for utility clients. Primary duties include performing intake of new projects through a client-based user interface, responding to client requests for environmental support for vegetation management and utility pole replacement activities. The position involves collaboration with a large interdisciplinary team to complete assigned tasks on a timely basis and to respond to urgent client requests.

Responsibilities


  • Obtain environmental clearance through client background check to access online system (upon employment)

  • Review client requests for environmental clearance to ensure project information is sufficient and complete to develop a project description, schedule, and determine permitting requirements.

  • Coordinate field biological, archeological, wetlands monitors for environmental clearance work and ensure proper reviews and/or surveys are completed by Cardno staff or subcontractors according to client schedule

  • Full engagement and willingness to identify process improvements to provide added value to our client

  • Obtain clearance through client background check to access online system (upon employment)

  • Comply with all Cardno and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use.

Qualifications


  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through

  • 0-3 years of consulting, logistical experience, and/or client services

  • Experience with desktop analysis for determination of field survey needs for projects

  • Experience working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment

  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to learn software systems and multi-step processes

  • Strong QA/QC skills

  • Positive, flexible, & team-oriented approach

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Professional communication skills

  • Customer service experience/skills

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred attributes:


  • GIS (Arc View)

  • Experience with desktop analysis for determination of field survey needs for projects

  • Experience creating KMZs

  • Experience developing project descriptions
