As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the floors of the hospital by performing routine cleanings as scheduled. You will also perform a variety of housekeeping and maintenance duties to keep the hospital neat, orderly, and sanitary.


  • You will maintain the floors in patient rooms, public areas, bathrooms, and offices

  • You will set up, operate, and maintain all floor care equipment

  • You will maintain hard surface floors on a daily basis by mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing and refinishing

  • You will pick up and transport all waste materials including linens, trash bags, and medical waste

  • You will move equipment and furniture throughout the facility and perform room setups as requested

  • You will be a supportive and positive hospital team member

  • You will communicate with hospital team members and supervisors regularly and effectively

Experience
  • 1 year of previous floor care experience - strongly preferred
Education
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent - preferred
