Perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard.

Major Job Functions:

Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part. Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging. Perform in-process quality checks and communicate non-conformances to proper personnel.

Work Environment:

Moderately hazardous inside work.

Hand tools/Power tools/Air tools Sonic welders Drill presses Arbor presses Pallet jacks Mills Various fixtures Measuring equipment/Scale Grinders

Physical Requirements:

Light work frequently Medium work frequently

Additional Information:

  • As directed in a thorough and regular manner to ensure the meeting of established requirements, employee is required to work from verbal instructions, written work instructions and quality plans with minimal supervision.
  • Follow company safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Employee must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities.

  • Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.

  • Perform other duties as required.
